Explore our multi-beam single photon LiDAR sensor, which excels at estimating the range of the debris from the satellite.
Our detection pipeline begins with a high-performance 150mm Cassegrain telescope, paired with a state-of-the-art 135fps sCMOS sensor. This optical assembly is specifically optimized for the challenging LEO environment, where high-velocity debris creates significant motion blur.

By firing laser pulses at high kilohertz frequencies and employing statistical integration, the SPL overcomes the vacuum of space to provide centimeter-level range accuracy, enabling Cassiopeia to transition beyond broad surveillance and focus on accurate debris position with a high level of confidence.

Unlike traditional LiDAR, this system utilizes high-sensitivity detectors capable of registering individual photon returns, allowing for long-range acquisition of low-reflectivity 1–10 cm debris.
